On August 8, the press conference of the 2023 Guangdong Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Guangzhou, revealing that in the first half of 2023, the province has received 328 million tourists, up 41.1% year on year, among which there were 5.706 million inbound tourists, up 611.8% year on year; the total revenue of tourism reached 379.13 billion RMB, up 95.5% year on year; and the foreign exchange income was 16.08 billion RMB, up 207.3% year on year.

Grand subsidies to boost consumption

The 2023 Guangdong Culture and Tourism Promotion Conference will be held on September 15th, to promote Guangdong"s cultural and tourism resources in an all-round way, interpret the rich contents of "Lively Guangdong, Fashionable Bay Area", and build the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) into a world-class tourism destination.

While at the same time, subsidy activities for the 2023 Guangdong Culture and Tourism Consumption Season will be held, during which the third round of subsidies for culture and tourism consumption will be issued on the basis of the previous two rounds, to stimulate people"s willingness to travel and meet their consumption demands during holidays.

Clear the channel for connecting industry and finance

The 2023 Guangdong Culture and Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel from September 13th to 14th.

The Conference this year will set up "one main venue and three branch venues", emphasizing key areas such as rural revitalization, digital culture and tourism, and investment promotion, while striving to build bridges, platforms and channels to connect the projects with the funds, so as to boost the quality and efficiency of the culture and tourism industry.

Deepen cooperation through high-quality exhibitions

The 2023 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo will be held in Section A of the China Import and Export Fair exhibition hall from September 15th to 17th, while the online Tourism Expo will be open from September 11th to 30th, serving as a professional platform for the culture and tourism industries at home and abroad to exchange information while promoting their products through the exhibition.

At that time, official tourism agencies, embassies and consulates, and enterprises from over 50 countries and regions will participate in the Expo, bringing with them resources, products and services from high-quality destinations around the world. The Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin will join hands with the Hong Kong and Macao authorities to showcase the business environment, culture and tourism policies and projects of the GBA to the world.

While at the same time, the mode of the "metaverse" exhibition will be further explored. Through the iteration and upgrading of the original 3D display platform, the modules of cloud display center, digital human IP and interactive games will be set up, combining online interactive games with offline prize redemption, so as to create a new culture and tourism world integrating the virtuality and reality.

同比增长95.5%！2023上半年广东实现旅游总收入3791.3亿元

8月8日，2023广东文旅推介大会系列活动新闻发布会在广州举行。发布会透露，2023年上半年，全省接待游客3.28亿人次，同比增长41.1%；实现旅游总收入3791.3亿元，同比增长95.5%；全省接待入境游客570.6万人次，同比增长611.8%，实现外汇收入160.8亿元，同比增长207.3%。

发放惠民补贴助推消费

2023广东文旅推介大会将于9月15日举办，全方位推广广东文旅资源，诠释“活力广东 时尚湾区”的丰富内涵，打造粤港澳大湾区世界级旅游目的地。

同时，开展2023年广东文旅消费季惠民补贴活动，在今年已发放两轮文旅消费惠民补贴的基础上，继续发放第三轮惠民补贴，激发和满足公众假期出游意愿和消费需求。

畅通产融对接渠道

2023广东文化和旅游产业投融资对接会将于9月13日-14日在广州香格里拉大酒店举行。

本届对接会沿用“1个主会场+3个分会场”的办会模式，聚焦乡村振兴、数字文旅、招商引资等重点领域，为项目和资金架桥梁、搭平台、拓渠道，助推文旅产业提质增效。

高质量展会深化文旅交流合作

2023广东国际旅游产业博览会将于9月15日-17日在广州中国进出口商品交易会展馆A区举办。线上旅博会将于9月11日-30日期间开放，为海内外文旅业界搭建信息交流、宣传推广和产品展贸的专业平台。

届时，预计将有来自50多个国家和地区的官方旅游机构、使领馆、企业参展，汇聚全球优质目的地资源、产品和服务。横琴粤澳深度合作区与香港、澳门将向海内外展示粤港澳大湾区营商环境、文旅政策及项目。
